For Large Vehicles
Trucks and tractor trailers must be especially cautious when going around a roundabout. To aid this, the district has provided an overview as well as specific procedures for our roundabouts.
Driving Tips
- Approach the roundabout and yield to vehicles and bicyclists already in the intersection as well as pedestrians at crosswalks.
- When clear, enter the roundabout and continue around until ready to exit.
- Use right-turn signal to indicate to others that you are exiting the roundabout.
- Keep in mind that the trailer may go off of the main road and on to the truck apron – don’t worry, the truck apron was designed for that precise purpose!
